From Side Effects to Eternal Effect

Man’s wisdom multiplies medicines. Each drug fights a symptom, yet leaves behind another wound: side effects, interactions, dependency. A bypass heart needs blood thinners. Stroke calls for saline, citicoline, antiseizure, antacid, antibiotic, and more. One medicine protects, while another must protect from that very protection. Truly, the mortal body is like a leaking ship, patched from all sides, yet ever sinking.

But when the Spirit Blood of Christ enters, it is not another patch for a failing vessel—it is the exchange of vessels. The mortal is not mended; it is clothed with immortality (1 Cor. 15:53).

Man’s Medicines vs. Spirit Blood

  • Medicines: Delay decay but cannot remove corruption.
  • Spirit Blood: Cancels corruption and plants eternal life.
  • Medicines: Bind a patient to survival through IV lines and pills.
  • Spirit Blood: Binds a son to eternal life, free from bondage.
  • Medicines: Bring dangerous side effects.
  • Spirit Blood: Brings the one eternal effect—glorification.

The Ship Moment

This is the ship moment—the crossing from a leaking vessel to a vessel of glory. Not repaired flesh, but flesh and bone filled with Spirit. Not restored blood, but Life Himself dwelling within.

“The Spirit gives life; the flesh profits nothing.” — John 6:63

Here lies the true healing, the eternal inheritance that no injection, tablet, or surgical hand can give: the indwelling of the Creator’s own Life, flowing as Spirit Blood into His redeemed sons and daughters.
